Courses
The Association runs courses every few months with Sensei Kawasoe and other instructors.
Syllabus
We provide a handbook for you which contains the syllabus for each grade.
The Basic Kit
Just you in your bare feet and loose comfortable clothing. No need for a karate suit until you are sure Karate is for you.
Shower facilities are available at each of our training venues in Edinburgh.
Karate Suits
We can give you advice on what you need when you are ready to buy one. They need not be expensive and we would recommend you start with an entry level suit to begin with.
Protective Equipment
If you want to invest in gum shields, sparring mitts etc. then feel free but if you are a beginner you will not need these for a while and certainly not until Robert thinks you are ready for sparring – there is no rush!
